Location:

Located in the heart of Melk’s old town, just minutes from Melk Abbey, cozy cafés, and restaurants.

I’m Jennifer, an interior designer and host with a keen eye for detail. I’ve designed this apartment in the historic Schiffmeisterhaus Melk so that you feel at home from the very first moment. It’s important to me that your stay becomes something special – full of history, enjoyment, and relaxation. I’m happy to share tips for excursions, culinary experiences, and hidden gems in the Wachau. I look forward to welcoming you as our guest soon!

The apartment is located in the heart of Melk’s old town – between the impressive Melk Abbey overlooking the town and the picturesque Danube. Fischergasse leads directly to the historic Danube riverside, where the Schiffmeister once resided.

Today, cyclists start their journey on the famous Danube Bike Path here, or visitors can enjoy a leisurely boat ride through the Wachau.

Just a few steps away, you’ll find cozy cafés, such as the popular Café Central or the Rathauskeller Café with its charming terrace. For culinary highlights, I recommend the restaurant Zur Post or Koloman at Melk Abbey.

In the Wachau, a glass of regional wine is a must – for example, at the nearby Heurigen taverns in Spitz or Weißenkirchen.

For excursions, you can visit not only Melk Abbey but also the Aggstein Ruins, Göttweig Abbey, or take a trip to Krems and Dürnstein.

For those who enjoy being active, cycling along the Danube, hiking, or exploring the Wachau by boat are all wonderful options.

Upon your arrival, I’m happy to provide personal tips to help you make the most of your time in the Wachau!
